Earlier today I came across a post that’s too good not to share. It’s one of those posts that I wish I’d written, because it encapsulates so perfectly one of the themes that I keep on chipping away at – namely, the notion that Jesus wants to make us successful. (In particular, I wrote about this in my post Everyone’s a winner!)
Here’s an excerpt (bear in mind that the whole post is written in an ironic tone):
Jesus is always hanging out in the winner’s circle.
Once in a while, He does visit with the riffraff – but only to lift them up and out of the boring, pitiful, uncool life they’ve been living. That’s what Jesus does. He saves us from being uncool and unsuccessful and brings us into the winner’s circle with all His superstar followers.
Life coach Jesus gives us loads of tips.
